B R Y T E specialises in creating printed, hand-painted, and embellished paper lampshade designs. Every lampshade is lovingly handcrafted by Bryony herself. From creating unique one-off cyanotype prints to the making and decorative finish of each piece, the whole process is done in her studio, making each design truly individual. 

From a textile design background, Bryony sold her degree collection of printed and embellished fabric slippers to Donna Karen and then went on to set up a fashion accessories label with her sister that was stocked in Fenwicks and won Best New Product at the Pulse trade show in London. 

After a career break for the early years of her two children, interiors have become a passion and lampshades have filled the creative desire to combine print, pattern and embellishment to create unique pieces for the home. A lampshade can bring so much joy to a room whether lit or just admired from afar. ‘Lampshades have little personalities themselves’ Bryony believes you shouldn't underestimate the power of a lampshade to make a room. Bryony would love to see her designs inject fun and character into people's homes.
